I quit blogging at my previous site almost two years ago. I haven’t thought much about blogging until about a week ago. My previous blogging experience was an experiment, an outlet for me. I enjoyed it, I loved reading other blogs, and I needed to blog. It was a glimpse into the world while I sat at home and breastfed my baby and cared for my other three children. And I believe it was an excellent way for me to be a part of things, without being a part of things! I learned so much from the many mommy bloggers I read and I still visit a few still today.
I have given thought into reentering the blogging world.” Do I have time for this? When will I blog? What will I sacrifice for blogging time?” Because, honestly there is not much free time in my day. “Is this beneficial for my life? What will I put on my blog? What things are important enough in my life to blog about?”
I am still thinking about these things and if I feel out of balance, the blogging will go. I am a woman who needs much balance. I have learned this over the past 8 years of pregnancy and child rearing. Rachel (me) does not function well out of balance. Thus, the title for this blog. I tried to think of a name that represents what I believe about me. I want to share what has worked for me. And the number one rule is, Keep It Simple. LIFE, that is. Keep life simple. I will begin to share more about what that means to me.
So, in the theme of simplicity, I begin the Keep It Simple Silly blog with this ultra simple blog theme. Isn’t it so simple and plain? I may have to add some color, I do like color!
